 Excellent Case

I’ve been ordering these cases for all of our schools iPads and have not been disappointed. They provide excellent protection and it’s easy to set the display to various angles. The new design gives better access to the full screen (nice when moving icons from one screen to another) and fits snugly so it feels very secure. Camera cut out works perfectly with the iPad 2 and the back strap works well with students holding the iPad as they walk around. It is a little difficult getting to the volume buttons but that is more the result of Apple’s change to a more curved edge. I can still get to everything I need even with the case closed.

 Pretty good case for iPad 2

Overall, I’m happy with this case. It looks fairly nice and professional. I didn’t expect to use the stand feature much, but it turns out that I really like this feature and use it a lot–even when using the iPad 2 on my lap. This case holds the iPad 2 securely and seems to offer a lot of protection. The power switch can be slightly difficult to access, but I just have to move strap or the iPad 2 slightly to get to it. Otherwise, all of the controls are easy to access and the hole for the rear camera is properly positioned. The speaker does not sound muffled, and I didn’t notice any odor from the case. My only complaint is that the case is somewhat bulky, adding quite a bit of weight and size to the sleek iPad 2. I have two small kids who use my iPad 2 and I sometimes carry it in my briefcase, so the solid protection provided by the case makes up for the bulkiness for me. An Apple Smart Cover would not have been adequate for my needs.

Great case, but may need a wipe down first.

The only complaint was a smell of strong chemical smell. We allowed the case to air out for a few days and wiped down with lemon juice which solved the offensive odor.
