3Better than most I’ve tried…
By Ms.G
Con: The display is not accurate and misleading; can really only work the system thru the remote control; cheap plastic, broke part of it replacing the battery which stopped working after using twice, but the remote still works.

But on the other hand…

Pro: Transmitter holds the radio frequency, whereas others I’ve tried thru amazon did not. And the info is easy enough to read–not something to do while driving anyway so doesn’t matter much. It seems to hold together better, structurally than others I’ve used — can be hairy pulling it in and out of the socket with some other models. Came with the mp3 plug and a light bulb; with others I had to purchase them myself, & not easy to find in my small town.

For the price it’s not bad. And I’m looking forward to the next model or an upgrade. This is another reason why I like to do reviews, so I can tell the developer what I’d like them to improve on.

1Absolute rubbish
By Big Shane
Purchased these for a transport bus in a foreign country, with no CD or cassette option. This seemed like a good idea for a work-around seeing that some of the vehicles operate at 12v and others at 24v. The item itself was cheaply assembled and felt fragile and the housing was not exactly as pictured. Tried it and it did not work. When it was inserted into the socket, the LCD of the unit lit up but remained blank and it was not colored (seemed to be monochrome). Of course the time frame for return passed and it will now cost me more to return. In my opinion, there are much better transmitters/ MMC/ USB players available, but I have not seen any with dual voltage. I cannot possibly recommend this product. Still looking for an able and suitable replacement.

1do not buy, cheap china made, poor quality
By M. Khan
Two weeks of use of this product renders the remote control useless. Amazon has already exchanged this out for me, and the second time, same issue; the remote stops working after two weeks.

With the remote not responding, you may not increase or decrease the volume of the unit, you can still use your your car volume control but higher volume on the car side and lower on the unit will result in more obvious static sound.

You may also not access the equalizer feature available thru the remote.

I believe they install the cheapest of the cheapest battery one could ever find in this remote. I never tried replacing the battery as it would cost me about half the price of the unit itself.

Chinese made products are sure cheap, but you get what you pay for. Amazon please drop this junk from your lineup of products. Items like these belong on ebay, and not on amazon.

Thank you
